Terms of Service
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Mostly Tiny Ltd ("we", "us") and govern your access to and use of mostlyrender.com and any services we provide through it. By accessing or using mostlyrender.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Effective date: 2026-10-14.
2. How these terms fit together
These Terms apply to your Mostly Tiny account and to every Mostly Tiny product you use with it (MostlyQR, MostlyPDF, MostlyRender and MostlyPrivacy). Each product also has a short schedule at the end of that product's copy of these Terms. If a schedule and these Terms conflict, the schedule wins for that product.
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy form part of these Terms. If you are a business customer, so does our Data Processing Agreement. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Each is published at /legal on the product's own website.
3. Who can use the services
You must be 18 or over, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. If you use the services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.
4. Consumers and business customers
You are a consumer if you use the services wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Otherwise — for example if you sign up with a work account, subscribe for an organisation or give a business tax ID — you are a business customer. Some sections of these Terms apply only to consumers and some only to business customers; they say so.
5. Your account
If you create an account, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@mostlytiny.io of any unauthorised use.
6. Acceptable use
You must use the services lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, which lists what is not allowed on each product and how to report abuse. We may remove content, disable a code, link or page, or suspend an account that breaches it, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
7. Your content
If the service lets you submit content, you keep your rights in it but grant Mostly Tiny Ltd a licence to host, store and display it as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.
8. Our intellectual property
Except for your content, all material on mostlyrender.com — including text, design, logos and software — is owned by Mostly Tiny Ltd or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
9. Fees and payment
Where the service is paid, the fees, billing cycle and renewal terms are those shown at purchase, and taxes may apply. Any refund rights are set out in our Refund Policy or required by the consumer law that applies to you.
10. Subscriptions and usage-based charges
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Some products also charge for usage — for example renders, AI requests or API calls beyond what your plan includes. The included usage, the price per unit and whether a plan is capped or keeps running are shown on the product's pricing page and in your billing settings before you buy, and the product schedule explains how usage is counted.
11. Your Mostly Tiny wallet
You can add prepaid credit (US$5 to US$1,000 per top-up) to your Mostly Tiny wallet. It pays for usage-based charges on Mostly Tiny products at the prices shown on each product's pricing page. The balance can only be used for Mostly Tiny services: it cannot be transferred, withdrawn as cash or used with anyone else, and it earns no interest. It does not expire.
Auto-recharge is off unless you turn it on. If you turn it on, you authorise us to charge your saved card the top-up amount you choose whenever your balance falls below the threshold you choose, without asking you each time. We email a receipt for every automatic charge. You can turn auto-recharge off at any time in your settings, and that stops future automatic charges immediately.
For an organisation's wallet, only its owners and admins can add cards, top up or change auto-recharge. Refunds of unused balance are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
12. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time in your billing settings; it then runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out our 14-day refund promise, your legal right to cancel if you are a consumer in the UK or EU, how usage and wallet balance are treated, and how refunds are paid.
13. Changes to our fees
We may change our fees from time to time. The price of a one-off purchase is the price shown at checkout when you buy, and a later change to our fees will not affect a purchase you have already completed.
For subscriptions and other recurring charges, we will give you reasonable advance notice of any change to your recurring fee before it takes effect. The new fee applies only from your next billing period or renewal; if you do not agree to it, you may cancel before it takes effect. A price change will never alter a billing period you have already paid for.
14. Changes to plans and features
Our products change over time, so what each plan includes can change too. We may change the features, limits and allowances of a plan — for example how many codes, documents or requests it includes, how often something can be edited, or how much analytics it shows — and which plans we offer, including the free plan. We do this only for a valid reason, such as preventing abuse, the cost of running the service, security, a change in the law or a change to the product.
Free plans are provided as they are at the time. A change to a free plan applies from when we publish it on the pricing page. Where it would take away something you already use, we tell you first where we reasonably can. A product's schedule below may say more about what happens to things you already made.
If a change would materially reduce what your paid plan includes, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. It applies only from your next billing period or renewal, never to a period you have already paid for, and you can cancel before it takes effect. Changes that add to or improve a plan can take effect straight away. Changes to the price of a plan are covered by "Changes to our fees" above.
15. Third-party services
mostlyrender.com may link to or integrate third-party services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or where necessary to protect the service or comply with law. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
17. Your statutory rights as a consumer
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you. An unfair term is not binding on you; the rest of these Terms continues to apply.
If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights that cannot be excluded or restricted — including that goods are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described (ss. 9–11), that services are carried out with reasonable care and skill (s. 49), and equivalent rights for digital content (ss. 34–36); a term is not binding on you to the extent it tries to exclude or restrict these (ss. 31, 57). If you are a consumer in the EU, the Unfair Contract Terms Directive (93/13/EEC) means any term we have not individually negotiated that, contrary to good faith, causes a significant imbalance to your detriment is not binding on you (Arts. 3, 6).
18. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, mostlyrender.com is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty, guarantee or right that cannot be excluded by law — including, for consumers, the statutory rights described above (for example, under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, that goods are of satisfactory quality and services are performed with reasonable care and skill).
19. Limitation of liability
Subject to your statutory consumer rights above and to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, Mostly Tiny Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of mostlyrender.com; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
20. If you are a business customer
This section applies only to business customers and replaces, for them, the limit in "Limitation of liability" above.
Data Processing Agreement. Where we process personal data on your behalf — for example the scan data of people who scan your QR codes, the consent records of your website's visitors, or the documents and pages you ask us to process — our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms, without a separate signature.
Liability. Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) £1,000. We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss. None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The consumer rights described in these Terms and in our Refund & Cancellation Policy do not apply to business customers; our 14-day refund promise does.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
22. Changes to these terms
We may change these Terms for a valid reason, such as a change in the law, in our services or in how we run them. We will email you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect and show the new effective date here. If you do not agree, you can cancel or close your account before the change takes effect, and a change never alters a billing period you have already paid for. Changes that are not material — such as clearer wording — take effect when we publish them.
23. Who we are
Mostly Tiny Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17282011. Registered office: Studio M, Hackney Depot, 5 Sheep Lane, London E8 4QS, United Kingdom. Email: privacy@mostlytiny.io.
24. MostlyRender: the service and metered billing
MostlyRender turns your templates and data into images and PDFs, and captures screenshots of web pages, through the website and the API. Each successful image, PDF or screenshot counts as one render.
Each paid plan includes a number of renders per month. Renders beyond that are charged per 1,000 at your plan's overage rate and drawn from your Mostly Tiny wallet, so a paid plan is never blocked while your wallet can pay. The free plan is capped: when its monthly renders are used up, rendering stops until the next month or until you upgrade. The included renders and rates are on the pricing page.
25. MostlyRender: screenshots of other websites
When you ask us to capture a web page, you confirm that you are entitled to access that page and to capture and use it as you intend, and that doing so does not breach its owner's terms or rights. A screenshot of someone else's page can contain their copyright material; those rights stay with them. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you must not capture.
26. MostlyRender: who owns the outputs
As between you and us, you own the images, PDFs and screenshots we generate from your inputs, subject to any rights third parties have in the material you give us or ask us to capture. We claim no rights in them beyond the licence we need to store, process and deliver them to you.
